The dedicated Facility Pharmacist works closely with the nursing and care staff to ensure all concerns related to medication are managed effectively. Regular delivery of medication is one of the services provided at Westsyde Care. After hours pharmacy phone support services are available as needed.
Nutritional and Dietary Monitoring
Many of our residents at Westsyde Care Residences require some degree of health and well-being monitoring. Our Care Home provides complementary nutritional services for all our residents. There are ongoing assessments & monitoring of the dietary needs by staff for each resident. Dietitian-approved menus go one step further to ensure optimal nutritional health. Referrals to Home and Community Care Dietitians are done for residents onsite who require tube feeds or cannot leave the facility to ensure their nutritional needs are identified. Other allied services are accessed on a case by case basis.

Our residents are not alone in their journey of brain injury rehabilitation. Through our active recreation and rehabilitative programs, there’s always something to look forward to at Westsyde Care Residences. Our residents participate in the individualized rehabilitation programs and remain active members in the community. Small group activities and frequent one to one sessions are just two of the things that set our Care Home apart from the rest. The facilities Human Service Worker helps residents connect to services in the community and teaches the life skills program.
